DR. LANTZIA THAO

Kx. Tswv Txos Thoj

District Superintendent, Hmong District

Dr. Lantzia C. Thao (Kx. Tswv Txos Thoj) was born in Laos and lived in Thailand for four years before coming to Morganton, NC toward the end of 1979 where he went and graduated from Freedom High School. He then continued his educations and graduated from Toccoa Falls College with a BA in Bible & Theology with a concentration in Counseling in 1987, Denver Seminary with a Master Of Divinity in 1990, and Bethel Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry in 2000. 


He met and married his lovely and beautiful wife, Omee Chang, in 1989. The Thaos have two handsome boys, Timothy and Daniel, and two beautiful daughters, Priscilla and Christina plus a brand new daughter-in-law, Angely Vang. All of their children and the daughter-in-law were TFC graduates or attendee. After Denver Seminary, the Thao went to pastor three of our Hmong churches including St. Paul Hmong Alliance Church, Leola Hmong Alliance Church, and Twin Cities Hmong Alliance Church. He served as the Director of Church Ministries at the Hmong District for twelve years. Dr. Thao is the current Superintendent of the Hmong District in the last year of his second term.

REV. TOU VUE

Kx. Tswv Tub Vwj

Hmong Study Bible Translator, Hmong District

Rev. Chue Tou D. Vue is the Hmong Study Bible Translator for the Hmong District and United Bible Societies. He has served in the local churches as a youth pastor and a lead pastor since 1998. He is an alumnus of Crown College. He has served on the HLUB Planning Committee, DEXCOM, and is the Secretary of the Credentialing Council. Serving others, making disciples, and preaching the Word of God is his call. He and his wife, Mae, have two children, Timothy and Alina. He enjoys hiking with his wife. His life bible verse is Philippians 1:21.


He will be preaching on the message title “The Kingdom of God Is Uncontainable” from Matthew 13:31-33. Just like the mustard seed grew big into a tree and the yeast expanded the dough in which these two things could not be stop, it is the same for the Kingdom of God. There is nothing or no one can stop it from growing and expanding to the ends of the earth. The Kingdom of God will be advance worldwide.

REV. JERRY LOR

Kx. Nyiaj Tseeb Lauj

Lead Pastor, Central Pacific Coast Hmong Alliance Church, Lompoc, CA

Rev. Lor has been married to Pa-Chia Yang for eleven years. He graduated from Toccoa Falls College with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministries. He has been serving as the Senior Pastor of Central Pacific Coast Hmong Alliance Church in Lompoc, CA, for ten years. He is working on a Master of Divinity degree in Church Revitalization. He enjoys spending time with his wife, fellowshipping with his church family, watching anime and documentaries, and playing cornhole with the church men.

REV. CHUE HUE HER

International Worker, C&MA

Rev. Her is currently serving as an International Worker with the Christian and Missionary Alliance in the Asia Pacific Region. He has served in this role since 2017. Prior to becoming an International Worker, he served as Assistant Pastor at the Sacramento Hmong Alliance Church in Sacramento, California, for two years (2011–2012), and then as Senior Pastor for five years (2013–2017). He has been married to his wife for forty years, and together they have nine adult children and two grandchildren.

REV. TSIM NUJ KUE

HDAOM 8 Leader & Lead Pastor, Providence Hmong Alliance Church, Providence, RI

Tsim Nuj Kue is the husband of 20 years to Jer Yang Kue and father of Zechariah (13) and Isabella (7).  He received his Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies at Simpson University and his Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  He is the Senior Pastor of Providence Hmong Church of the C&MA and have served there for 9 years.  He enjoys a good bowl of pho and spending quality time with his family.

REV. ELIJAH VANG

Kx. Txawj Pov Vaaj

Dexcom & Lead Pastor, Charlotte Hmong Alliance Church, Charlotte, NC

Pastor Elijah Vang has been faithfully serving in ministry for over 14 years. He currently serves as the Lead Pastor of Charlotte Hmong Alliance Church, a role he has held for the past 10 years. Prior to that, he served for 4 years as a Youth Pastor at Livingstone Alliance Church, where he developed a heart for discipling the next generation. Pastor Elijah holds a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry from Crown College and is actively involved in broader church leadership as a DEXCOM member and an HDOAM leader.


Pastor Elijah has been married for 26 years to his beautiful wife Chao and together they have four wonderful children and one son-in-law. Outside of ministry, he enjoys thrifting, family walks and gatherings, biking, watching movies, playing pickleball, and spending time in the mountains. He also enjoys raising pigeons and keeping freshwater fish. Above all, Pastor Elijah desires to serve Christ faithfully and shepherd God’s people toward spiritual maturity and wholehearted devotion to the Lord.

PASTOR JEREMIAH HER

Xf. Tsim Meej Hawj

Youth Pastor, Sacramento Hmong Alliance Church, Sacramento, CA

Pastor Jeremiah has served the past 4 years as Youth Pastor in his home church of Sacramento Hmong Alliance Church. He is passionate about many things, but three of the things he loves the most are (1) Sharing the Word of God; (2) Empowering others to live faithfully and boldly for Christ; and (3) Building a bridge between generations to advance the Gospel mission as a Kingdom family. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Rose, son Ezekiel, and trying new foods.

DR. JONATHAN SCHAEFFER

President of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, Reynoldsburg, OH

Dr. Jonathan Schaeffer was elected as the 13th president of The Alliance in May 2025. He is grateful to be part of this family of churches strategically reaching out locally and globally. Before his election, Jonathan served for 25+ years as lead pastor at Grace Church, which has three campuses on the southwest side of Cleveland and has launched several additional churches in that region. Grace is known for seeing many people come to faith in Christ and being trained and mobilized for eternal impact. Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife, Mary, and visiting a beach or national park with their five adult children, three children-in-law, and four grandchildren. The aim of Jonathan’s life is simply this: “Growing in love for the Lord Jesus and for people who matter so much to Him . . . here and around the world.”
